About This Project

The Narmada Akteshwar Bridge is a major EPC transportation structure delivering a multi-span pier-and-girder superstructure across the Narmada river corridor. Chetan Engineers is executing foundation works, pier construction, girder casting and launching, deck slab concreting, crash barrier installation, and retaining wall construction to the highest structural and safety standards.

Scope of Work

Engineering, procurement, and construction of a major bridge including 1200 mm diameter piles, open foundations, pier lifts, pier caps, PSC girder casting and launching across 12 spans, deck slab concreting, crash barriers (big and small sections), railings, and segmental retaining walls including U-Through structures.

Current Work

  • Reinforcement work for the fourth lift of the U-Through-1 retaining wall is progressing in accordance with the construction schedule.
  • Slab top reinforcement between P9 and P10 is in progress.
  • Slab box levelling between P10 and P11 is underway.
  • Small crash barrier shuttering on the P2–P3 RHS section is in progress.
  • G64 girder reinforcement work is continuing at the casting yard.
